100%-Fiber Internet Service Available for Purchase In Coming Weeks
Kingston, New York — May 7, 2024 — Archtop Fiber, a provider of multi-gig, 100%-fiber Internet and phone service to residential and business customers across the Northeast, is revving up construction throughout the Village of Rhinebeck, New York.
Rhinebeck Is Ready for the Fast Lane
With a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in place with the Village of Rhinebeck, Archtop anticipates its superior service to begin rolling out across the area in late May. The Internet provider’s multi-gig service currently offers symmetrical speeds up to 2Gbps, far surpassing local competitors, with speeds up to 8Gbps for residences and 10Gbps for businesses coming soon.
“With Archtop as a trusted and reliable tech partner, Village residents will have the option to use them as their Internet provider at 1Gb (gigabit) and greater speeds. That’s faster than other plans currently available,” Gary Bassett, Mayor of the Village of Rhinebeck.
Archtop’s construction activity over the past several months has involved aerial work on utility poles as well as “microtrenching,” a minimally invasive process using a specialized machine to slice a one-inch-wide trench in pavement up to two feet beneath the road surface, but above sewer, water, gas and electrical infrastructure.
Rhinebeck residents are invited to check service availability in their neighborhood and sign up to receive alerts when service is ready to order through Archtop’s online ordering site, shop.archtopfiber.com.
The Market Rollout Rolls On
Following its recent service launch in Kingston and Saugerties, Archtop Fiber is continuing its expansive rollout across New York’s Hudson Valley, including the Town of Ulster, Warwick Valley, Hurley, Stockport, Catskill, Hudson, and Vernon, New Jersey.
